Kia ora whānau,

This is a friendly reminder that all students need to have their permission slips and pūtea (payment) returned by Wednesday, 27th August 2025 for our upcoming Toi Puoro Activity Day.

Our tamariki from Lake Rotomā School will be heading out on a day trip full of exciting and enriching experiences, including:

·         A visit to Taurua Marae

·          Exploring Te Puia and learning about traditional Māori arts and culture

·         A stop at the Rotorua Public Library

·         Hands-on activities related to Māori music and culture, including traditional instruments (toi puoro)

·          Travelling to and from all locations in school vans

This will be a fantastic opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of te ao Māori in an interactive and meaningful way.

Please make sure:

The permission slip is signed and returned to school
The pūtea (payment) is made by Wednesday, 27th August 2025
 

If you need a new permission slip, please let your tamariki know and we can arrange for another one to be sent home.
